Tim Voehl,

Health Ambassador

After coping with a chronic neuro-muscular disability for 10 years, I decided to stop watching my life fall apart.  At 45 years old, I found the "reset" button in my life and began a journey to improve life again. I did not believe that it was possible to learn again or that I could improve my physical condition!

Fast forward: I earned an associate degree in Electroneurodiagnostic technology from Gateway Community College and had learned about the human brain, spine, and nerves in great detail. Frequently during my clinical rotations at the Mayo clinic and a busy neurologists office in Phoenix, I worked with patients that had success with changing their diet and lifestyle behaviors. Typically patients that resigned themselves to a life of misery suffered from more complications, required more medications, regular doctor visits and routine testing.

Not wanting to lead that life anymore...I chose to learn how to improve my health by learning how to help others improve their lifestyle behavior choices in the Healthy Lifestyle Coaching degree program at Arizona State University.
